These terms and conditions govern your use of BillsCheck.pk. By accessing or using the site, you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the site. We may refer to BillsCheck.pk as "we", "us" or "the site" throughout.
About the service
BillsCheck.pk provides a free tool to help you reach your electricity bill for Pakistani distribution companies, along with guides on tariffs, payments and reading your bill. You enter a 14-digit reference number, and we help you open the bill for LESCO, MEPCO, FESCO, IESCO, GEPCO, PESCO, TESCO, HAZECO, HESCO, SEPCO or QESCO.
Independent service, no affiliation
We are an independent website. We are not owned by, affiliated with, or acting on behalf of any DISCO, the Power Information Technology Company (PITC), the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) or any government body. Company names, trademarks and logos belong to their owners and appear only to identify the service each page covers.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or use the site under the supervision of a parent or guardian, and you must use it for lawful purposes only.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for entering the correct reference number, for reviewing your own bill, and for paying it on time through an authorised channel. You agree not to misuse the site, not to attempt to disrupt it, and not to use automated tools to overload it.
Acceptable use
You may use the site for your personal or business bill checking needs. You may not copy, scrape or republish our content without permission, resell access to the service, or use it in any way that breaks Pakistani law or infringes the rights of others.
Accuracy of bill information
Bill figures come from the distribution companies' billing systems. We present them as received and do not guarantee they are complete, current or free of error at all times. Tariff and slab figures on the site are indicative and change when NEPRA notifies new rates. For any dispute over an amount, a reading or a surcharge, contact your DISCO directly. Only the distribution company can correct an official bill.
Payments
BillsCheck.pk does not collect or process bill payments. You pay your bill through a bank, a mobile wallet such as Easypaisa or JazzCash, internet banking, or a DISCO payment counter, using your reference number. We are not a party to that payment and hold no responsibility for it.
Intellectual property
The design, text and guides on BillsCheck.pk, except third-party marks, are our property and protected by law. You may view and print pages for personal use. You may not reproduce our content elsewhere without written permission.
Third-party links and portals
The site links to official billing portals and other resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or policies. Visiting them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, including a missed payment, a late payment surcharge, portal downtime, or reliance on tariff information. You are responsible for paying your bill on time.
Indemnification
You agree to hold BillsCheck.pk, its team and its partners harmless from any claim or demand arising out of your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute connected with the site or these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter without a formal dispute.
Feedback and submissions
If you send us feedback, suggestions or ideas about the site, you agree that we may use them to improve the service without any obligation to you. Please do not send confidential information through the contact form, since messages are handled by our team for support purposes.
Availability of the service
We work to keep the site available, but we do not promise it will run without interruption. Maintenance, technical faults, or issues with an official billing portal can affect access at any time. We may add, change or remove features without notice. Access to your bill also depends on the distribution company's own systems, which are outside our control.
Force majeure
We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including power cuts, internet outages, portal downtime, natural events, or government action.
Severability and entire agreement
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form the entire agreement between you and BillsCheck.pk regarding the site, and they replace any earlier understanding on the subject.
Assignment and waiver
You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours to a successor if the site changes hands. If we do not enforce a term on one occasion, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms from time to time, and we may change or withdraw the service at any time. The current version always applies. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
