Electricity bill calculator

Turn your monthly units into an estimated bill. The tool uses NEPRA slab rates for protected and unprotected consumers and adds an approximate figure for taxes and the fuel price adjustment.

Read the units figure from your meter or the units consumed line on your bill.

Consumer type

Protected consumers stay at or below 200 units in each of the last six months and pay lower rates.

Estimated bill for 300 units

Rs 11,254

Unprotected tariff, taxes included (estimate)

Electricity cost
Rs 8,792
Taxes, fixed charges & FPA (approx.)
Rs 2,462
Estimated total
Rs 11,254

This is an estimate using indicative NEPRA slab rates. Your real bill depends on the exact tariff, fuel price adjustment and taxes for the month. Read your bill for the payable figure.

How the estimate works

Slab pricing charges each band of units at its own rate, so the first 100 units cost less than units above 300. The calculator applies each band's rate to the units inside it, then adds a rough share for taxes, the fixed charge and the fuel price adjustment. That gives an estimate close to a real domestic bill.

Protected consumers pay lower rates in the early bands. Switch the consumer type to see how staying under 200 units changes the total.
